Music Ministry

The Greater Ebenezer Music Ministry is a vibrant part of our worship experience. The music ministry enhances the worship through songs of praise and worship, demonstrating the Word of God through song. From hymns, to spirituals, to gospel classics, and current CHURCH MUSIC the gospel is sung and the body of Christ is edified! Greater Ebenezer is blessed with 5 choirs: Sanctuary Choir, Inspirational Choir, Men’s Chorus, Women’s Chorus, and Children & Youth Choir.

We are blessed with Rev. Harold M. Pittman as Music Ministry Coordinator. The committed musicians and directors working in this ministry along with our coordinator are: Anthony C. Jones, Donald R. Hunt, Debra Williams, Seminolia Lamar, Rev. Fred P. Washington, Ryan Gibson and Donnie Johnson.

Our Music Ministry will have you leaving service with a song in your heart and praise on your lips to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

PRAISE MINISTRY

Our Praise Ministry serves the body of Christ at each worship service by exalting and magnifying the LORD, by edifying and encouraging God’s people to worship the LORD and helping to prepare hearts to respond to the proclamation of God’s Word.

SANCTUARY CHOIR

The first official choir of our church - just like the word of God, this choir remains current in praise through experience! These seasoned saints provide an anchor to the gospel message in songs like “I’m Saved” and “He’s Brought Me All of the Way”.

The Sanctuary Choir rehearses on Thursdays beginning @ 7:00PM.

INSPIRATIONAL CHOIR

This adult choir offers a range of selections from anthems, hymns, spirituals, and gospel in a distinctive eight part harmony.

The Inspirational Choir rehearses on Fridays beginning @ 7:30PM.

MEN'S CHORUS

Thank God for men of standard, men of promise, and men of distinction leading the worship service. This group of men enjoy the Lord, and enjoy singing God’s praise. They are men who are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Men's Chorus rehearses on Wednesdays beginning @ 7:30PM.

MISSION CHORUS

This body of Christian women comes together in sisterhood to sing praises in our regular worship services, during 5th Sunday services and Mission Day. For Women’s Day, additional sisters come together to comprise a mass choir of all ages!

Rehearsals for the Mission Chorus are on Tuesdays beginning @ 7:00PM.

CHILDREN & YOUTH CHOIR

This dynamic group of young people are carrying on the gospel message in the tradition of the adult choirs, but with a youthful exuberance. From age 2 to 22 and beyond, this youngest choir is learning that God will make a way…out of no way…for them too!

Rehearsals for the Children and Youth Choir are on Saturdays beginning @ Noon.
