Engaging The World

The responsibilty of every believer is to share one's faith with the unsaved. Our Evangelistic Outreach Ministry goes out monthly sharing the gospel - providing bibles, clothes and personal items to those in need within the community. Each first Saturday of the every month, members visit selected locations in Los Angeles County and witness to those in the area.

Each first Saturday, the Ministry meets at the church at 8:30AM.

​

The Resource Ministry is a support program for all who need information and assistance with basic needs including housing, food and other program referrals.

​

The General Mission serves to activate all women of the church in Christian service. Through regular workshops/meetings, they encourage Christian growth, reach out to those who are less fortunate, comfort the bereaved, convalescent and witness for Christ.

 

The General Mission has small groups that meet at various times throughout the month. 

Our annual Community Resource Fair provides access to vital free and low-cost resources and information. Vendors offering health care services/information, food services, emergency and disaster preparedness materials and a hiring spree provide critical and helpful support to the local neighborhoods.

 

Community Resource Fair is held annually on the 3rd Saturday in September.

GEMBCLA is grateful for the opportunity to provide support to individuals and organizations working to improve the lives of others in need/crisis globally. Through direct funding of mission trips to prisons in Panama, relief efforts in Haiti and projects to build drinking water wells in Malawi, South Africa as well as member involvement, we continue to serve those who are in need.

GEMBCLA is open to partnering with other organizations working in mission related fields and opportunities to help support individual projects.

The Digital Outreach Ministry's purpose is to use social media and the web to promote and share the activities of the church as a worship and outreach tool. This ministry is responsible for managing the website and our presence on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Soundcloud and YouTube.
